That looks like a feather. Isn’t that what it is?
Thanks for dropping by.
It’s a type of wild grass. The photo was taken on an incredibly cold foggy morning, as is.
That’s simply incredible!! Love it
And congrats for FP
And please check out my latest post – http://raajtram.wordpress.com/2012/03/07/i-me-myself/

It’s lovely.
Very cool picture!! I like it, as well as the others you have posted. Great work!! Looking forward to following your blog:)
Hello – Beautiful photos.
Thanks for following Pieced Work. I’m a writer and interested in words/language (things that don’t always go together!)
First word that came to my mind…Zen. Thank you, it’s beautiful.
Thank you.
I was a Zen monk once if that explains anything.
that explains everything
Is that stem real or is it artificial? The photo is outstanding.
It’s real and in the field wild. The background is fog so you can’t the hills beyond. The dew is as as from the cold autumn morn.
Thanks for the compliment.
It looks like a thin christmas tree
It does, now that you mention it.
This is so cool! Love it.
Very Nice! Good eye!
Reblogged this on Courtroom Trials and commented:
Because it messes with your perception. You think its a feather. but it’s not. And IMHO, if art doesn’t make you reevaluate something, its not art.
Really cool. It looks almost as if it was wrapped for you(:
Beautiful…say it slowly.
I agree!
Thank you all for your kind words.
It means a lot to me as this is one of my favourite photos as well.
I can see why! Its beautiful. What might just make it a little better is if you told us a bit more about the photo?
really ? Is it in Hiroshima. Where is it exactly ??

I see.
Its a country side and love the place. Its a one of the beautiful place where you can ski and a lot of fruits can grown ! Nice !!! Thanks
Great stuff–the subtle background adds so much to it!
I really appreciate that you noticed that. Only fog that think coil give that quality. Makes the shot all the more worthwhile when a viewer sees what you see.
Nice!
really like that
i think that it looks really nice and really well shot. it definitely looks best with the level of contrast

Nature’s Christmas Tree. Well Done! Thank you for sharing with us from the WordPress family.
So simple, yet utterly breathtaking.
Amazing stuff!
I really like the simplicity in your photograph. Less is more.
That’s a pretty ass photo!

Haha, kewl !!!
Kinda reminds me of a christmas tree!
Love, love, LOVE this.
Thanks for sharing!
Wonderful shot!
Looks like the radiation hasn’t messed everything up after all
Thanks for dropping by.
Do you mean 1945 or 2011?
I know you meant well but I don’t think many here would take too kindly to a comment like that. So I would like to take this opportunity to talk about Hiroshima.
Consider survivors of the A-bomb who still suffer greatly, physically and psychologically, from its effects. But most people have only heard of two bombs when in actuality over 2,000 nuclear explosions have occurred in the name of tests and muscle flexing. That does not include deleted uranium used in anti-tank missiles which have caused undocumented pain to hundreds if not thousands of children in countries where the US have entered into conventional warfare.
I would extend an invitation for you to come visit Japan and Hiroshima to see just how beautiful this country and its people are and how they have picked themselves up when have been down and almost out.
In a way, you have now inspired me to take photos to show just how mentally strong and serene Japan and the Japanese really are.
So Zen…lovely.
The photo is lovely! We are taking your advice and coming to see Hiroshima in April for all its beauty, such as this! Thanks for the inspiration.
Thank you for your comment.
Then I shall put some more scenic photos in the near future to give you a taste of what to come.
Beautiful and a bit mystic
Wonderful and fascinating! I look forward to wandering through your other posts. Congrats on FP
Thanks for the message.
Very nice image!
Usually I don’t read post on blogs, but I wish to say that this write-up very compelled me to check out and do so! Your writing style has been amazed me. Thank you, quite nice post.
Great Blog
Gracie signore.
I am glad you commented. I think if you like something you should say it. Otherwise there will be silence on the Internet and all people will be very lonely.
Nice capture
Breathtaking. So simple, and yet the more you look at it, the more the perfect complexity of all of the forms becomes clear. And the limited color palette becomes so rich and varied. I haven’t seen a photo that I wanted to sit with and just examine in a long time. Thanks for posting.
Zeke (or Destroy?),
Thanks. I am glad you like it. It is one of my favourite photos to look at as well.
Cool photo – is it a spider web or the work of a caterpillar?
Ah! Good thought.
It would make more sense. Though it was late autumn so a spider is more likely. Actual observation is the only solution.
Nice one.
